Sheryl Carter recently joined Embolden as a project manager.

Before coming to Embolden, Sheryl worked for several years doing web design, strategic planning, and tech consulting in New York City and elsewhere, including for the bestselling author-neurologist Oliver Sacks (whose book Awakenings was adapted into an Oscar-nominated movie).

As a consultant, she has specialized in content/editorial and messaging strategies for artists and small business clients in the arts. She is experienced in graphic design, HTML and CSS and is a seasoned researcher and dramaturg, with interests in user experience, usability, intellectual property and privacy issues.

At Embolden, she will handle all aspects of project management.

Sheryl has a master’s degree in interactive telecommunications from New York University; a degree in theater and film from Columbia College in Chicago; and a certificate in web development from the New York University School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
