Embolden Design Launches Site for Connecticut Health Foundation, Augmenting Work with Connecticut Nonprofits
Pawtucket, RI – Embolden Design recently unveiled a new site it developed for the Connecticut Health Foundation (CHF), the state’s largest independent nonprofit grant maker dedicated to improving the health of Connecticut residents.
The site, www.cthealth.org, further establishes Embolden’s business with Connecticut-based nonprofit organizations such as the the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, a community foundation with $570 million in assets; Advo SummerWind entertainment venue; the Capital Area Conference of Churches; and Hartford Area Children’s Collaborative.
The Connecticut Health Foundation site provides additional information about public health issues and features easier navigation and a new bold look. It also includes:
- More information about program priorities and other public health issues
- Foundation-produced publications that can be easily downloaded
- Easy-to-follow grant guidelines and application documents
- An email alert sign-up to be instantly notified of website updates
- National and state public health resources
- Biographical information about staff, the Board of Directors, and the Community Advisory Committee
“There is a reason CHF chose Embolden over other regional competitors to develop their new site,” explained Embolden President Ann-Marie Harrington. “We have earned an excellent reputation for effectively presenting nonprofits on the web, specifically child- and health-centered nonprofits. CHF knew we could help them optimize their communication with the underserved communities they work with. I’m glad we can add CHF to our growing roster of Connecticut-based clients.”
The Connecticut Health Foundation (CHF) works to improve the health of the people of Connecticut through systemic change and program innovation. Since it was established in July of 1999, CHF has funded just over $7.9 million of grants in three priority areas -- children’s mental health, reducing racial and ethnic health disparities and oral health.
Embolden Design (www.embolden.com), located in Pawtucket’s flourishing historic arts district, offers distinctive and inspired web solutions and consulting services. The company has grown steadily since its 1998 inception and boasts a roster of 75 active clients comprised of nonprofits (Rhode Island KIDS COUNT), community foundations (The RI Foundation), academic institutions (Brown University) and small and large businesses (BankRI).
