What Sara does at Embolden
As the lead strategist on a project, Sara uses every tool available to her -- email, phone, in-person chats, branstorming sessions and more -- to come up with new ideas and great solutions for her clients. "I have the best job at Embolden. I get to work closely with our clients and our team every step of the way." A natural multi-tasker, Sara loves every part of the process, especially launching sites that leave a smile on everyone's faces.
What Sara did before
Sara was a checkout bagger at a grocery store, a BA theatre student at the University of Washington, a hostess, a waitress, a professional downhill ski instructor, an English-as-a-second language instructor for the security guards at the US Embassy in Uzbekistan, an actress, a tech support customer service representative at a high-tech Silicon Valley company, a theatre ensemble member, a web-marketing specialist, the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of the Shady Shakespeare Theatre Company, the sole proprietor of her own web design/programming firm, a theatre director, a web programming consultant, and an MFA in Theatre Education candidate (and now recipient). Since working here, she's become a mother, too.
When Sara’s not project managing
“I play with my husband and son as much as possible, preferably in our garden where I love to grow food that I love to cook. Or we’re hiking/camping around New England. Because all our family is on the West Coast, we travel across the country a few times a year and love to go other places, too. When not with my husband and son, I’m acting or directing with local theatre companies.”
