You know about Wikipedia...the web-based encyclopedia project where volunteers collaboratively write content. It's a great way to find out just about anything.
But, did you know that Wikipedia also compiles lists of topics? And Brian Cray, who blogs about web stuff, has compiled a list of 60 or more lists in 10 categories, which he aptly calls the Ultimate List of Awesome Wikipedia Lists.
He's posted links to Internet-related lists (blogging terms, photo sharing websites, YouTube celebrities etc.); a list of language-related links (words with disputed usage, frequently misused words); and a list of fun or odd items (such as a list of cocktails and one of unusual deaths through the centuries, which I was not going to read, but then I couldn't help it...).
There are helpful ones, like the list of academic databases and search engines and then really helpful ones, like words that contain the letter Q that are not followed by the letter U...definitely on my reading list for this weekend.
