You know about Wikipedia...the web-based encyclopedia project where volunteers collaboratively write content. It's a great way to find out just about anything.

But, did you know that Wikipedia also compiles lists of topics? And Brian Cray, who blogs about web stuff, has compiled a list of 60 or more lists in 10 categories, which he aptly calls the Ultimate List of Awesome Wikipedia Lists.

Our inaugural poll on our new Embolden website, asked: "Many organizations are beginning to expand their online presence with a Facebook page. Does yours have one?"

Seventy-four percent of the folks who responded said they do have Facebook pages. As for those who don't, here's one more reason to consider joining: Facebook signed up its 200 millionth member today.

I just returned from a conference in Nashville (and if you’re ever in town, be sure to eat at Prime 108, a restaurant in a 19th-century railroad station-turned-hotel. Beautiful and delicious.)

One of the presenters at the conference was a trend and new media expert, Vincent Everts of the Netherlands. While I’m naturally suspicious of anyone who makes a grand entrance into a conference room riding a Segway, he had a few interesting things to say.
