Job Description:

  • Build web pages using W3C compliant HTML and CSS code in a .NET shop.​
  • Set up the architecture of websites based upon requirements specified in a sitemap; create pages and navigational structure for websites to provide optimum navigability and usability;
  • Prepare, input, integrate and format client-provided and company-generated content – this may include text, images, video, audio, Flash and multimedia assets; apply critical thinking skills to “interpret” this content and present it in such a way so that is visually appealing, easy to read and to navigate, and exhibit all of the best practices for presenting web content to a general (or specifically-targeted) audience;
  • Provide thorough testing and quality assurance to all work rendered; troubleshoots and rectifies issues;
  • Provide general support to the web production, programming and quality assurance teams.
  • Generate end-user and internal documentation as needed

Job Requirements:

  • College degree
  • 1 year minimum web development job experience.
  • Demonstrable skills with HTML/XHTML/CSS. Design and content layout and formatting aptitude plusses.
  • Excellent communication, grammar, and spelling skills and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to talk articulately about basic web concepts and have a general understanding of the web production process.
  • Ability to work independently, but also as a team player.

Software/Skills

Job Description

  • Provide outstanding customer support and technical troubleshooting for clients using our content management system and other web-based communications
  • Respond quickly and courteously to client emails, phone calls, voicemail messages and other requests
  • Quickly troubleshoot and resolve requests or assign/escalate tasks to the appropriate team member effectively and efficiently
  • Prioritize work flow
  • Communicate project requirements, timelines, and budgets to clients and internal teams
  • Track, document and analyze support issues by using software tools
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Train clients of varying levels of technical ability on our content management systems (in person and remotely)
  • Train and provide ongoing support to clients on the Constant Contact e-newsletter system and answer client questions on social media basics
  • Create, maintain, and distribute user documentation for new systems/tools as they are developed or enhanced
  • Assist with testing websites as needed
